hey y’all ~ just a quick note from down under. super grateful to be on the Sufjan Stevens Space Tour Down Under in AU / NZ. We got to rock the Sydney Opera House, and hit 7 other cities. People are slightly confused at the beginning of our show, maxed out with an 11 piece band, and the gorgeous visuals of Deborah Johnson – but then they seem to turn and wish for us never to get back on our spaceship and fly away! Everyone is so chill here, and there are clearly “no worries”, something for my NYC Annie Hall mind easily forgets – hopefully it will have rubbed off on me and i will take their sense of ease and fullness home!
