I saw you last October in Vancouver for Sufjan’s Age of Adz Concert. I loved every minute of it, but this is my all time favorite piece of music from the album. I love it, and completely envy your role as back-up singer (but at least it gives me something to daydream about ..)!

What a lovely video to go along with the song that’s been in my head since Friday night of Hopscotch. I’m really enjoying the CD. Saw Brad on the street yesterday, and he was telling me about how he has like 50 SVE demo’s. Makes me want to write more and more songs. I’m a choir girl, too (conservatory trained and still IN choirs), but now I’m in a band for the first time in my life at 40. I’ve got the itch to write songs, but it’s not natural for me. It’s hard. Seeing all the amazing artists all around me helps, and Epic helps a lot. Cat – your looping really got me psyched. I only recently started fiddling around with Garage Band, harmonizing with myself. If anything can pull me away from my excessive training, that can. That + covers + lots of practce + lots of trying… I’ll get there.
